1992 Porsche 964 Sunroof Delete (ROW)
What began as a quick restoration project at SR Auto Group turned into this fantastic complete bare metal restoration of a rare 964 Turbo without a sunroof. This 964 Turbo was purchased at auction from Collecting Cars from Belgium from an avid Porsche enthusiast. The pictures looked amazing on the website and the engine was a powerhouse with records from day one so we decided to bring in this restoration project to Canada.
Once it arrived, we realized that the body was refinished more than once so we decided to bring it down to metal, repairing any damage and replacing ALL rubber gaskets, seals, damaged glass and etc. Once it was down to metal, we decided to go the resto mod route so we picked a color from the Porsche database that would compliment the classic body lines of the car. Amethyst was the choice and the body work began. Once the vehicle came back to us we started replacing everything required to make this vehicle as new. New headlights, tail lights, rocker covers, bumpers, fasteners, and anything you can imagine to make it as new.

The engine was showing 211K Kms and had a strong history but we opted to tear it down and do a reseal, check the bottom end and replace all hoses, plastics and anything that was dried up. A complete gasket set, AC lines and anything that needed attention was replaced. A full list of parts and accessories with receipts are available upon request.
Interior was removed and Sport Seats with Hounds tooth centers were added, new carpeting, new rubber floor lining, new door panels, pads, headliner and a recovered dash pad was also included all complimented by a OEM Porsche Classic Radio.

To complete the look, we turned to an H+R Street Suspension with Sway Bars, New BBS E88 with Silver Center's and Michelin Cup 2 Tires. Underside with Refinished with Wurth OE Under spray with all new plastic covers, fasteners and retainers. And finally a Cargraphic complete exhaust system with heat exchangers and turbo drain that rivals artwork in a museum.
This vehicle is the ultimate drivers car. A Porsche 964 Turbo with no sunroof, 300kms on a fully restored chassis and resealed engine. A Porsche enthusiasts dream!
